SPEAKER: Ric Harry

Ric Harry has been a member of the Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) since 1990 and has sat on the CWQA Board of Directors for many years, fulfilling various roles. He is currently CWQA’s Education Chair. He has been in the water purification and wastewater treatment industry since 1983, and has intimate knowledge of the technologies available in the market place. He is also very familiar with the dealer issues, component and systems manufacturers and is in an excellent position to evaluate them objectively.

Ric’s training and certifications in water and wastewater have included: water treatment operator, wastewater treatment operator, water and wastewater distribution operator, water analyst, and a stationery engineer ticket. Ric also has military training and expertise.
Prior to 2009 Ric was the Technical Trainer for North America for Water Group companies and then continued training with Culligan after that on both sides of the border. Ric has provided training for Kinetico, Hague, Ecowater, etc. In 2011 he became Culligan’s Regional Sales Director for Canada and North Eastern United States.

Ric has held WQA certification in water treatment since 1990 and was one of the developers for their modular education program. He has also been the keynote speaker for Eastern Water Quality Assoc, the Pacific Water Quality Assoc, and the Ohio Water Quality Assoc. In addition, Ric has written a variety of articles for various publications.
